Hunter Street Sports
The relationships, programs, and activities of the Recreation Ministry serve our church family and the community. We use the Recreation Center as a means of sharing the truth, love, and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We seek to provide quality recreation in a Christian setting, not only to strengthen our church family, but also to reach those who do not have a church home or who do not know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
Facilities: gymnasium, indoor walking track, weight room, group exercise room. Hunter Street Ballpark (soccer, flag football, baseball, T-ball, softball) are located 7 miles west of the church in Bessemer.
Children
The purpose of Hunter Street Sports is to help children understand Godly competition, sportsmanship, and to develop basic sports skills. Our league offers your child an opportunity to play sports with coaches who will teach them about the game, but will also teach and demonstrate the love of Christ.
Youth
Middle and High School students have a great opportunity to play sports with coaches who will teach them about the game and will also teach and demonstrate the love of Christ. Sports is a great way to help students understand Godly competition, sportsmanship, and develop basic sports skills.
