Thanksgiving and Christmas are already upon us. This means we have some special opportunities coming up on Wednesday nights. Take a look at the schedule for the next several weeks.

- November 29 -Colossians: An Advent Epistle led by Dr. Mark Gignilliat from Beeson Divinity School
- December 6 -A night of celebrating God’s work through missions in 2017
- December 13 -Repeat the Sounding Joy musical presented by our Joyful Singers Choir

- January 10 - Winter Term of Wednesday Night Life begins

There will be no Wednesday night activities on November 22 and the Recreation Center will close at noon. The Church Office and the Rec Center will be closed on November 23 and 24 for the holiday.

Order a poinsettia to be displayed this Christmas in memory or in honor of someone special. A recognition program and your poinsettia will be available for pick up on December 17 after the last service. Poinsettias cost $20. Use a poinsettia envelope or place your order online.
This is an evening to “Gather ‘Round” as our children and student choirs lead worship. The service concludes with a time of candles and carols on the front steps and lawn of the church (weather permitting).
The Joyful Singers will present Repeat The Sounding Joy! a traditional and Southern gospel Christmas musical.
"Christ Is Born"is our Christmas worship concert led by our Worship Choir and Orchestra. Invite someone to come with you as we rejoice in the coming of the Messiah. Childcare is provided birth to K5. All Small Groups for all ages WILL meet.

Christmas Eve is on a Sunday this year. We’ll have two worship hours, at 9:30 and 11:00am and celebrate with scripture, carols, and the Lord’s Supper. Small Groups will not meet and there will be no childcare. There will be no evening service on Christmas Eve.
Sunday morning, December 31, 9:30am
There will be one worship service at 9:30am. Small groups will not meet. Childcare will be provided for birth to K5.
The Recreation Center offers two classes designed for active older adults or those looking for a low-impact workout. These one-hour Zumba Gold classes build cardiovascular health by challenging the heart and working the muscles of the hips, legs, and arms with dance moves. There is a fee for the class.
DNow, February 2-4
DNow (short for Disciple Now) is a unique weekend experience filled with Bible study, worship, fun, and friends designed to help 7th through 12th graders grow to be more like Christ. You do not have to be a member of Hunter Street to participate in this event and we encourage students to invite their friends to DNow! The cost for DNow is $65 through December 31 and $85 starting January 1. Register here.
Student Leadership University SLU 101
Students begin their leadership journey at SLU 101, where High School students learn life skills that can change the way they think, dream, and lead. Check out more details at slulead.com. The cost per student is $599 + travel.
